"It was a gamble for us to make the trip to the East coast of Scotland but the dice rolled in our favour. Pretty much everything came together. We had the windiest conditions I've ever been in, and a whole variety of wave conditions from reef to beach break, plus wall to wall sunshine.

The fact that our chosen location was unchartered windsurfing territory added another level to the chase as we spent our session dodging dangerous reef outcrops as the tide dropped in an effort to keep hitting the waves we came for. It wasn´t my favourite tack but who said the storm chase should be easy? The whole experience was a challenge, which is exactly what I signed up for.

We came away with smashed up kit and some damn good memories of an epic session that to me, ticked all the boxes of what a storm chase should be."
