“The Storm chase in Holland was incredible.
I’ve lived in Pozo (Gran Canaria) for about three years. I’m used to strong
winds, but this I had never done before. Kevin and I got blown off our
equipment! I took my Ezzy SE 3,7 and that was way to big… we couldn’t jump high,just far… the best way to explain how I felt, is if you imagine how to throw a balloon up in the air with with 50 knots… you look up, but you better look side ways!! If it would’ve been just the wind that went mental… nope… the waves kept on kicking in without a break and went up to mast high and a bit and further out you could see seven meter high swell!

It was an amazing day. Wouldn’t have want to miss it!!! Unfortunately I couldn’t stay all day… this day (1st of Novemer) was my first working day at my new job… I had to rush back, but I came late at my first day! …nice one…

Later winds got a bit more reasonable I’ve heard and it got better for Kevin to handle the conditions… I’m really sorry that I missed that part… but no complains… It was a well set up event, a great idea and a very good way to promote windsurfing, so all together it has been a great success!
