Event - The Red Bull Storm Chase is on full alert!!!

23 Windsurfers in 9 Northern European countries are about to face the most gnarly conditions mother nature can provide. After the teams have been on stand by for more than eight weeks, the teams are now on the road, heading for the beach of their choice to face winds exceeding 40 knots and more! After numerous false alerts during the last weeks, the event is finally getting started, watch out for news and photos coming soon!

Review:
The riders have been voted online by windsurfers from all over the world. In the first round the top five of each region were identified, in the second and last round the top2 were officially announced as Red Bull Storm Chasers! If one of the Storm Chasers is not available at the DayX the next one of the top5 jiggles in which happened now in Germany Baltic Sea, Netherlands and Norway:

New team formations:

GER Baltic Sea: Matze Bade, Steffi Wahl instead of Normen Günzlein
Netherlands: Kevin Mevissen – Chris Nolles instead of Bart de Vries and Peter Volwater
Norway: Hans Kristian Waarum – Knut Andre Dahl instead of Rudi Fjellanger and Orjan Jensen

Now it´s time to get the smallest sail out – time for the real action – THE CHASE IS ON!!!
